Artist In Residence in SASAMA (AIRS)
You will stay in a renovated private house in the village of Sasama with the studio next to the house.
You can apply with maximum 3 people for the program.
In addition to produce surrounded by abundant nature, participate in various seasonal events held in the area, interact with the local residents, meet the local cooking, agriculture, straw making etc.
Cultural experience is also possible.
Length of Stay
From the shortest 15 days to the longest 90 days it is possible to stay according to your wishes.
Participation Fee
The fee will be different by the number of people.
Single Use: JPY195,000
2 People: JPY 330,000
3 People: JPY 405,000
*This is the price for basic stay (30 DAYS). The price will change depending on your residency duration.
*The house will be private use for the group. If there is other residency group, studio will be shared.
* If you are non-ceramist and still interested in the residence, please contact to us.
